This week in Chad’s Attic, we look at Image Comics’ space western “Copperhead,” superheroes with 1950’s issues in “Jupiter’s Circle,” and Walt Simonson’s foray back into Norse mythology, “Ragnarok.” Then I dip “Into the Boxes” to revisit Simonson’s epic “Thor” issues.

In Episode 4 we talk about “Avengers” #22 (1965) as well as some new stuff. “Ms Marvel” 14 & 15, “Airboy” #1, “Green Lantern” #41 and “The Omega Men” #1. We go “Into the Boxes” to uncover the not-so-secret history of the Omega Men in “Green Lantern” #142 and “Omega Men” #1’s from 1982 and 2006.

In Episode 3, I dig into DC’s “Divergence”, their Free Comic Book Day book, a “Secret Wars Preview” I got free from my local comic shop, (Hi Rick, Laura, Mel, Dave) Alan Moore’s new “Providence” #1 and “Ms. Marvel” 11-13. Then in the debut of the “Into the Boxes” segment, I pull out Millie The Model” #25 from 1963 to show that girls reading comics is nothing new.

Episode 2 is slowly getting better. Lighting has improved. Still no real production value though. Nice wire hanging in the shot.  I was trying to keep people’s expectations low.
